Advantages of 6 mm pellets
We use a German-made Amandus Kahl pellet press, which has a capacity of 2000 pellets an hour. The pellets we produce are 6 mm in diameter, a size that can be readily used in all burner models. What is more, with no additives, our 6 mm pellet burns cleaner and produces energy more efficiently than most other pellets sold on the market by our competitors.
The 6 mm pellet stands out as the best choice for domestic consumers
Most pellets used for industrial purposes are 8 mm in diameter. These are easier to produce than 6 mm pellets.
But it is well worth pointing out that given the needs of ordinary consumers and the boilers in private homes and smaller units, the smaller 6 mm pellet is the better choice. Bigger pellets might clog the system. In pellet-burning fireplaces, 8 mm pellets may not work at all.
