Imex Wood manufactures ecological wood products from spruce heartwood.
We produce small-dimensional lumber from spruce heartwood (peeler cores). The products meet a variety of needs in packaging and have a wide range of other uses as well
Our products for sawmills span kiln spacers, packing spacers, battens, bearers and boards. We offer boards and blocks for use in pallets and packaging that serve the needs of industry in Finland and abroad.
The spruce sawdust from our lumber products is used to produce high-quality 6 mm wood pellets. These provide energy-efficient heating for industrial plants and households alike. The pellets are also ideal as bedding for horse stables.
Our pellets are made from pure and bark-free spruce sawdust. They contain no additives.

Imex Wood Oy is a family-owned company that started its operations in 2000. Our business is based on the further processing of purila, a by-product of plywood mills.
We started in Elimäki, but in 2004 we moved to larger premises of 7000m2 in Nastola Uuteenkylä, which is now part of Lahti.
The larger premises have enabled the company to refine its operations, and strong innovation and use of automation have been the cornerstones of the business.
We are also suppliers of industrial lines. Our expertise includes the design and construction of factory lines.
The products include all low-dimensional spruce timber, such as a wide range of wood materials for packing and palletising, dry kiln dried lumber, various types of siding and siderails, boards and wood pellets.
The company employs more than 25 people and processes more than 50,000 cubic metres of purée per year.
