Pellet

Do you heat with pellets? Choose an environmentally friendly option!

Imex Wood Oy offers high quality 6 mm heating pellets, specially designed for optimum use in small burners such as fireplaces, boilers and fireplace baskets. As a raw material, we use pure spruce chips, which are a by-product of sawmilling - without any additives or binders. This makes our pellets not only clean, but also a highly sustainable choice for the environment.

Note that a smaller pellet works better for consumer use!

6 MM Pellet benefits

We use a pellet mill from the German company Amandus Kahl, which has a capacity of more than 2 000 kilos of pellets per hour. We produce pellets with a diameter of 6 mm, suitable for use in all boiler models. In addition, our additive-free 6mm pellets burn cleaner and produce better energy than most of our competitors on the market.

6 mm pellets make a significant difference in consumer use

The majority of pellets used for industrial purposes are 8mm pellets, which are easier to produce than the smaller 6mm pellets.

However, it is worth noting that in consumer and domestic central boilers and smaller units, the smaller 6mm pellet works better. Larger pellet sizes may clog the system. In pellet fireplaces, the thicker 8 mm pellet may not work at all.
